11.45am: Two Tied At The Top
Amelia Mehmet-Grohn and Corey Lamb are the clubhouse leaders after the opening round of the North Coats Open here at Coffs Harbour.
With the opening round in the books, the pair hold a two-shot lead over four players, William Bruyeres, Matt McLean, Brady Watt and Kade McBride, who are all at four under.
Mehmet-Grohn needed all her local knowledge over her final few holes, after uncharacteristically dropping a shot on the 7th, she binned a clutch birdie on the 8th (her 17th) to rejoin lamb in the lead.
After hitting a solid approach on the last, The Iowa State Graduate had a chance to grab the outright lead on the last, however her birdie try came up just short. A relieved fist pump after tapping in a sign of how much her six under effort meant.

10.30am: Six The Score For Chops
Corey Lamb has the clubhouse lead after carding a tidy six under par 70 in a rain-interrupted opening round of the Geoff King Motors North Coast Open.
Four under for his round when play was abandoned overnight, Lamb made his move as soon as the siren to resume play went off, calmly rolling in a two metre pried putt on the 12th to get to five under.
The 20 year old added another couple of birdies at the 14th and 17th to get to seven under.
With the outright lead in hs grasp, Lamb’s run came to a halt on the last after finding the left trees with his tee shot. After chipping out to just off the front edge and a tidy chip to the difficult pin, lamb couldn’t save par, and ended his round with a bogey five.
