Rookie Pro Amelia Mehmet Grohn will be one of the home town stars ready to grab a slice of history by lifting the North Coast Open Trophy when the esteemed tournament gets underway at Coffs Harbour Golf Club tomorrow.
Grohn is in the afternoon half of the field and will tee off alongside one of the tournament fancies, Alex Simpson, and amateur Aaron Hart at 12.35pm from the 10th tee.

One local amateur who will be hoping his nerves don’t get the better of him is Billy Flanagan, who is in what is probably the marquee group of the day. playing alongside European Tour member Deyen Lawson and the freshly minted Western Region Open Champion, Daniel Gale.
Former Hong Kong OpenChampion Sam Brazel and Japanese tour member Dylan Perry will be joined by Conor Whitelock, teeing off the first at 12.20, while another local, Jack Poutney, will play alongside another debutant to the pro ranks, Jordie Garner.
Concord Cup Champion Corey Lamb, who has his sights set on joining the ISPS Handa PGA Tour of Australasia, will tee it up alongside Queenslander Tim Hart and Sydneysider Dale Williamson.
