It might be a stretch, but the impressive Elvis Smylie is the man most likely to challenge the Machine like Matt Millar.
With holes running out, however, the Young Queenslander will need a few cards to fall his way and then hope the Canberran stables over the back nine.
Smylie is currently at six under, but with only a couple of holes to play, while Millar has made the return at ten under and comfortably in from.
Several other names made moves as the front nine unfolded, however the tricky winds around the back part of the course have proved testing.
Mathias Sanchez was briefly at minus 6 alongside Style, so to the Victorian Amateur Daniel Gill.
St Michael’s John Lyras was there for a moment but an untidy bogey on the par four 14th seemed to have ended his chances.
