It was destined to be a shoot-out, but in the end, nothing could separate the best youngsters in the NSW Open.
Canberra’s Harry Bolton and Avondale’s Jye Pickin split the medal for low amateur, both at -8 and equal 26th for the tournament.
Pickin had the pick of the final rounds, a six-birdie effort only undermined by a double-bogey on the super-challenging par-3 6th, whilst Bolton has a mixed bag of four birdies and three bogeys for a final round of 71.
Lawry Flynn, who had led the low amateur into the final round, struggled to a four-over-par 74 to finish at -5 and finished in a tie for 51st.
