Victorious Bryden Macpherson has won the Golf Challenge NSW Open at Concord by three shots, a fitting win for the most in-form golfer of the Australasian summer.
Macpherson summer of excellence includes wins from the Moonah Links PGA Classic in February, a second at the Queensland PGA, and his first NSW Open title.
The quietly spoken thirty-year-old kept his nerve throughout the final round at Concord as challenges came and went, most notably from an 18-year old rookie whose charge ended with a disastrous double bogey on the 17th when only one shot back from the lead.
More to come…..
