Martin still the man, but Choat threatening

Martin Dive still maintains a one-shot lead late on the final day of the South Coast Open.

Dive got it to nine under at one stage, however the Ryde Parramatta tyro gave a shot back on the tricky 13th.

Daniel Fox, the crafty West Aussie crept to within one of the lead, however an ill timed bogeys on the 12th and 13th may have stalled his run at the title.

Anthony Choat remains in second just one back of Dive

7.40am: Final round underway at Moruya

The final round has just begun in the South Coast Open here at Moruya Golf Club.

The early starters have been greeted with crystal clear morning with a hint of mist in the air.

Speaking of weather, conditions look likely to mean good all-day. The temperature is already climbing towards the twenties and should hit a warm 31 by mid-afternoon.

The afternoon players will get some wind to contend with. However, the predicted fresh sea breeze looks like it will only get to around 13 km/h at around 3 pm.

With the leading group of Dive, Gannon and Choat hitting the course at 11.40, fans can expect plenty of action. Twenty-seven players are in red figures, and although the Moruya layout held it’s own on day one, fans can expect to see plenty of birdies this afternoon.

Follow the action at NSWOPEN.COM , or better still, come on down to see a great day of golf here at Moruya.
