Canberra’s Matthew Millar, Queensland’s Kade Mc Bride and Ballina’s Jay Mackenzie have secured their place in the field for the $400,000 NSW Open at Concord Golf club from 25th -28th March 2021.
The evergreen Millar, a former ISPS Handa PGA Tour Player of the year, secured his place with an impressive tied third place after carding rounds of 67 and 68.
Queenslander Kade Mc Bride, the 2019 ISPS Handa PGA Q School winner, carded rounds of 69 and 67 to finish in a tie for fifth alongside Ballina’s Jay Mackenzie who carded back-to-back 68’s.
Guaranteed spots in the 2021 Open are awarded to the top three placegetters at each of the six NSW Regional Open series events who are not already qualified.
The next Qualifying Event, the Tweed Coast open, will begin on Monday at Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club.
