Lismore’s Sam Brazel, the 2016 Hong Kong Open champion, David Brandson, and Steven Jeffress are also heading off from the 10th at 8.10 am.

There will be plenty of interest in the debut performances of former NSW representatives Nathan Barbieri, Josh Armstrong and James Conran.

Barbieri will be first on course, playing alongside Dimi Papadatos, and local amateur Billy Flanagan. the trio hit off from the first at 7.55 am

James Conran will join his 2019 NSW state teammate Blake Windred and amateur David Newick in the next group, while Josh Armstrong will be joined by another former NSW product Jake Higginbottom and amateur Harry McMillan at 8.15am form the first.

Coffs Harbour Golf club is in stellar condition for the 36 hole tournament, and for many of the seasoned professionals set to tee it up tomorrow, the course is a very, very pleasant surprise.

“I had no idea it was this good,” Japanese Tour regular Adam Bland said. “I expected it to be your standard country course, but this is great.”

The feedback was echoed by veteran Marcus Fraser.

“This is a quality layout. An old school course in a way like Fanling in Hong Kong, and it’s in fantastic condition.

“The players will be talking about it, word will get around, and they will want to come back next time it’s on the schedule,” Fraser added.
